Palm Kernel Flakes are obtained from the kernels, taken from the cracked nuts of the palm. It makes a very hard, white bar of soap that lathers in almost any water. It is very similar to coconut oil. Palm Kernel flakes are a base oil that almost all soapers use in some percentage. Palm kernel flakes are used exactly the same as palm kernel oil in your recipes, but more convenient to handle. Not to be confused with Palm Oil. Palm Kernel is not the same.

|Pros:||The palm kernel flakes are an amazing quality at a excellent, very competitive pricing. The packaging is perfect for storage. I'm very impressed with the ease of use (no icky spoons and bowls measuring). I love the use of flakes in measuring compared to having the mess of other forms of palm kernel oil. Great product overall|
|Cons:||Honestly, I can't think of any con of the product or Chemistry Store at all. I've been delighted with every item I've ever ordered.|
|Comments:||This is a great product to add to a soaping arsenal. The shelf life and ease of use make it one to add to any order for serious soapers. Go ahead, get the larger amount...you'll find tons of great recipes to include this in.|
