Zinc Oxide is used to impart opacity to face powders, foundation creams and dusting powders. Zinc is believed to to encourage healing of skin disorders. In cosmetics it is also used in baby powder, bleach and freckle creams, depilatories, face packs antiperspirants, foundation cake makeup nail whiteners, protective creams, shaving creams and white eye shadow.
