Payments

Transfer. Due to the various payment
options available, COD orders are not
accepted.
We are not responsible
for delays in order processing due to declined
credit cards. If your credit card is declined,
we will notify you as soon as possible regarding
the problem. Check orders will ship once payment
clears the bank. We reserve the right to refuse
service to anyone at any time for any reason.
South Carolina residents will be charged Sales
Tax in the amount of 7%. 
ORDER POLICY You must
be 18 to order. If you are under 18, a parent's
signature must accompany the order. Verification
of such will be made. It is our intention to
provide chemicals to the hobbyist and student
for legitimate scientific or hobby
purposes. We reserve the right to not sell
product if we do not feel confident as to its
use. Additionally, we do not assume
responsibility in any form or manner as to your
use of these chemicals. Any suggestions,
formulas, experiments etc. are not guaranteed.
Safety is the primary concern.
Local Order
Pickup from our
Warehouse Local customers may pick up orders
at our warehouse in Cayce, SC. Please
put your order in online 24hrs in advance so
that we can have it ready as we are not a store,
but a warehouse. On the checkout page choose
customer pick up as your shipping
method. If you have any questions, please
feel free to call.
Shipping and Handling
Policy All orders
are shipped via UPS. There are no shipments on
Saturday, Sunday, and holidays. Local customers
may save shipping costs by picking up orders.
Order pickup requires 3-4 hours lead time during
normal business hours. All efforts are made to
ship orders the same day they are received;
however, this is not always possible due to
order volume, so please allow at least one
business day to process your order.
Weekends
and holidays are not considered business days.
Do not count these days towards your total ship
time. Point of departure is South Carolina. If
you live on the West Coast, your ship time is 5
business days in transit after the day the order
ships, which does not include processing time in
our warehouse. If you need your shipment by a
certain date, please allow sufficient time for
your order to reach you. Overnight, 2 Day and 3
Day deliveries are available, should you need
expedited service. We do not ship UPS Collect,
UPS Third Party, or to UPS Account #'s other
than our own. Please understand all ordering and
shipping procedures before you place your order.
You will receive an email from Quantum View with
your shipment tracking number as soon as your
package leaves us. This email will give you an
estimated delivery date.
Package Damage or
Shortages If upon receipt of your order, any
items are damaged or missing, you must contact
us within 2 business days. Please save the
damaged items and the original packaging. These
must be available in order for us to file a
claim with UPS. If these are disposed of prior
to settlement of the claim with UPS, we will be
unable to reship the replacement product.
Returns Unopened products can be
returned within 7 days of delivery*. A 20%
restocking fee, plus the cost of shipping the
product back, will be incurred. Products that
require a hazmat waiver prior to shipment cannot
be returned. Any product that has been opened
cannot be returned. Please contact us for a
return authorization. If a package is refused at
time of delivery, the restocking fee will apply.
We are not responsible for shipping delays and
cannot reimburse for shipping expenses.
* We do not accept returns on
fragrance, flavor or essential oils.
Privacy
Policy
The Chemistry Store
believes that confidential information should
remain confidential. We only use your personal
information for the purpose of filling your
orders and communicating with you regarding your
order. We never sell or share your personal
information with other companies. If you wish to
receive promotional information regarding
specials and new products, please sign up for
this service on our home page.
Liability/Disclaimer
All products are
offered in good faith but without guarantee. Due
to the variety of industries served, products
are sold without warranty of any kind.
Purchasers will, by their own tests and
evaluations, determine suitability of such
products for their specific use. We assume no
liability for damage and/or injury resulting
from the use of products supplied by this
company. In no event will we be liable for
direct, indirect or consequential damages
resulting from loss of use or profits arising
out of, or in connection with, the
use/suitability of products. While we test all
products, we cannot make any guarantee that
these products will agree with everyone.
Instructions or tips we offer are from our own
personal experiences. We cannot guarantee that
these will work in your particular
circumstances. All prices and policies are

APO, Military
& Puerto Rico
Addresses We do not ship to APO addresses. For
shipping to Puerto Rico, we use the
USPS
Priority Mail and UPS. There is an additional
$10.00 charge per box when shipping Priority
Mail. We do not ship via USPS to any other
destination. In order to use the USPS, you must
sign a release of claims as the postal service
has a long delayed process in paying claims. Click
here to open the waiver. Please print the
waiver, fill it out, and fax it to our office at
803-926-5389. No USPS orders will be re-shipped
until the claim is settled.
International Orders
Orders from
outside the continental United States, Alaska,
Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Canada are considered
international orders and require special
handling. Credit cards from any country outside
the US, Canada or Puerto Rico are not accepted.
International orders require payment via bank
wire transfer. After receiving your
online order, we will contact you with wire
transfer information so that you will be able to
complete the transaction. All international
orders are shipped via United Parcel Service (www.ups.com)
International Shipping and Canadian
Customers
UPS Worldwide Express is
used for all International orders except Canada.
Orders to Canada are shipped UPS Standard.
International customers are responsible for all
Customs/Duty tax and brokerage fees for orders.
